Three Great kids.
College
After starting at American River College, taking nearly all the music they had to offered, I moved to Idaho to Northwest Nazarene University in 1972. I graduated from NNU in 1986 after being in business and teaching in Christian schools for several years. n several Christian schools and at Pierce Joint Unified in the "metropolis" of Arbuckle. I taught music to high school and junior highers and a course which included health and driver's education. It was a good time, but was out when the budget dictated that they drop all except one of the music classes.
I have also driven school bus on and off since 1972, driving for Rio Linda USD (Now Twin Rivers USD) 2003. August 2011. I am Tutoring 2 days a week in addition to my other adventures.
I also officiate high school sports, currently doing football, basketball and softball. I have fun and get paid for the exercise.
Military
I have been a member of a Army Reserve Componant, either National Guard or Army Reserve, most of the time since 1969. Joined 59 Army band, Sacramento, transferred to 25th army Band , Idaho National Guard to the 312 Army Band Lawrence, Kansas, and back to the 59th Army Band, Sacramento, California, in 1988. It has been a great experience and the pay isn't bad either. Retired December 21, 2008.
In addition to these adventures, I have a video and music service business I do for fun and a few bucks.
