Steve's Story
Went to The College of Idaho, still lived at home and commuted each day to Caldwell. Met a girl from Fruitland my junior year, Eileen Snavely, and married her in December of 1974 after graduating in May with a B.S. in zoology. (Why zoology?? it was the nearest major that met my pre-optometry requirements). Went to Pacific University in Forest Grove Oregon to Optometry School and graduated from there in 1978. om scratch. Worked there for 40 years and sold my practice to my optometry partner's son who joined the practice in 2018.
I play some golf, do some fishing, a little bird hunting and try to get some raquetball in two or three times a week, although I am getting too old to do any of these things well.
We had three kids, all of which have eventually moved back to Walla Walla along with our seven (7) grandkids. Grand's age range from 5 to 14 at this writing, (April 2023)
