Steve's Story
Life
After I graduated, I worked at Kovachi Brothers Auto Parts for about 10 months, decided I wanted a change, and joined the Air Force. I served for 22 years, retiring from active duty on 1 May 2001. One of the major perks was travel--I was stationed in the United Kingdom, Korea, and Turkey. I also had short trips to the Philippines, Thailand, Germany, Japan, and Spain. gator for the Department of Defense before taking my current job as a federal employee--I manage the Information, Personnel, and Industrial Security Programs at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. Still happily married to my wife Maria, who I married in 1985 while I was stationed in Korea. My passion is cars. I currently own a beautiful 2008 Chevrolet Corvette and enjoy driving it on nice sunny days (which is almost every day here in New Mexico).
