Steve's Story
Life
It's coming up on 15 years since I've seen or spoken to many of you. I suppose I'm finally in a place where I can say I've made something of myself. Not exactly where I thought I would be, but very happy...
I must admit the 90's where a bit of a blur. I did move around a lot.Gainsville, Orlando, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Montana are some of the places Ive lived. Some how I always end up in the Tampa Bay Area.
In the Mid-90's I met the girl who has since become my wife, Melissa. In 1998 we got a place together in Orlando and we've been together ever since. The same year my interest in computers, particularly in programming, became a hobby and the path that has lead me to where I am today.
I proposed to Melissa in January of 2003. On July 25th of the same year we were married in a beautiful sunset ceremony on Clearwater Beach after which we spent a week at a Sandals Resort in Negril, Jamaica.
Two years later, well March 28th 2005, my daughter, Kaiane Sue Hartford (pronounced Kay-ah-nee) was born. A ...Expand for more
year and two days after that my son, Rolyn Michael Hartford (pronounced Rah-Lynn) was born. My Kids are the best things that ever happened to me. Talk about instant Responsibility. In the truest form, they make me want to be the best person I can be everyday.
My Career has advanced quite a bit over the last 7 years. After leaving a Senior Software Developer position at a Department of Defense contractor, I began my own venture in March 2008. Anuvue Solutions, Inc. is the software development company I created and so far its been a real success...knock on wood;)
When I have spare time, and I'm not spending it with my family, Ill usually be Writing Music...Mostly "Alt Rock" Stuff, or mixing records in the garage (the only place Melissa will let me play loud:)
In the future, maybe 10-15 years I'm hoping to retire and move to Colorado so I can go snowboarding as often as I like :)
So that's me in a nutshell. If you want to send me a message, feel free. And I'm hoping to see you all at the next reunion
