Steve's Story
School
Attended San Jose Elementary, Skycrest Baptist School, Dunedin Middle School, Dunedin High School. I really enjoyed my private school education then thrust into middle school (shock). Then high school was alot of fun. I tried everything, alot of clubs, weights, singing, acting,dance,language...you name it but was bored in most classes. I enjoyed college alot though.
College
I did much better in college than high school and became serious about school. I couldn't wait to get thru it all and graduate though. I wanted to get on with life. Phi Theta Kappa Honors 1991 SPC. I finished my education at the University of Florida and eventually taught 5 classes a semester for UF for almost a decade. This year i would like to return to college online, evening, weekends to pursue a degree in ministry.
Workplace
Hmmm where to start? I currently have worked for AT&T for the past 3 years. I also work at the Youth Ministry Director for Lifepath Christian Center...Expand for more
in Tarpon Springs. Before that i spent almost a decade teaching martial arts for UF. My school in Gainesville is still running today and is now 2 schools. i also worked bi-vocationally full-time for Powertel/T-mobile as a B2B Rep for 2 years. Before that i worked for Tech Data for 2 years. In college i worked as a physician's aid, also in a copy center, waited tables & started a mobile detailing business. I may have left something out but i've been busy.
Military
As a civilian, trained US military units and police depts in hand-to-hand, Certified Police Tactics Instructor and Master. Co-advisor to the Alachua Police Explorers (kids). Together with these groups i enjoyed repelling, bomb searches, building searches, traffic stops & military confidence courses. Spent time at both Camp Blanding and NAS JAX bases. Never enlisted in military service but have a deep respect for the dedication and commitment our Military and Law Enforcement have for their jobs.
