Life
A bio? Man, I wish I was famous enough that someone else is writing this! ... At least I am not so infamous that someone else is writing this!! Oh... wait.. I haven't said anything yet. Why am I running out of characters already?! Stop!! I need More Space!! <sigh> Ok.. I will try to be non-verbose. Here Goes... Hi, I am Steve Knoop <oops... you already know that> I am still Alive! Yes! Well I am as of this writing. But as for the future, ah.. the future... I guess we all know what lies before us there, so lets let tomorrow take care of tomorrow. Today I have enough troubles to take care of me. Actually, I haven't done anything in my view to warrant a review here..no great loves, no great hates; I've brought no new souls into the world nor taken any souls out of the world. Take a pen and draw a line across a sheet of paper with mighty peaks and deep valleys... That is NOT me!!..... Now draw a long level line with maybe 1/16 inch deviations (ok, maybe 1/8) Now! This is me!! Yup, me... so much me that I have already made plans for my nursing home stay... I have these really neat plans on how to wire my wheelchair's batteries in series! I will be able to go twice as fast! The nurses will have to corner me before they can catch me, or am I suppose to be chasing them? I haven't quite make up my mind on that dilemma yet. And!! s important to take as few pills as possible, especially those that are suppose to "calm me down". Besides, pill trading is gonna be a big, big, big hobby then. <chuckle> Possibly the only hobby we will have then. <sad sigh here>. Oh... I fish. and I've learned to tell true and factual fish stories. Kinda like this one....
Workplace
I just finished that stupid Q&A thing! I am really and really and really not happy with it! I want to write in what all the "other" boxes I checked in that "thing" I answered, what "other" in the real world means. I've learned not to live in any predefined boxes and I really don't like being forced back into any kind of limiting choices! Aagghh......
Military
Lets see. I did 4 years active in the Air Force and 4 years in the Oklahoma Air Guard. I did Medic type things. I was on the medical egress team for our service men that came out of the North Vietnam POW camps. I was able to go TDY with the army's Green B's and the British Special Forces. And for some reason they let me wear a warrant officer's insignia when I visited the Air War College and I wasn't even in the military then! Did I do anything secret or classified? Nope. Nothing. In fact it was so Not-Secret that the Air Force took away my civilian secret clearance! <sigh> I would never have guessed that going from civilian to military I would end up knowing less! Hmm... maybe boot camp did what it was suppose to do....
