Steve's Story
What a ride! After a whole lot of roaming around, I am now living in Cleveland  at least it's an O state. After four years in the Army I spent several years acting, cutting hair, driving truck, painting houses, firefighting, owned a shipyard, was radio announcer, real estate appraiser, and real estate agent. Then back to college to finish the long neglected education getting a B.A. at Western Washington University and an M.F.A at Wayne State University.
That led to a few more years of acting and directing in regional theatres all over the country, commercials etc. and finally to teaching. I started at Cal. State Long Beach and the American Academy ...Expand for more
of Arts at the same time; then on to the University of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky University at the same time; and finally to Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
After around 20 years of Academia I left to take a position as a Real Estate Consultant for a relocation company using my Appraising background. I will, hopefully, be retiring in a year or so.
I am, very happily, in my 25th year on my second marriage to my wife Susan Shore and have one daughter, Megan who is now 36 and getting married in March to a wonderful guy.
I must say that I miss the west coast, Oregon and Bandon and am looking forward to spending time at home.
