many friends and family are gone so quickly in rapid succession. A lifetime of effort swept away as chalk erased from a board, I knew so many people, so well, for so long. My worst nightmares became My reality. I handled things very poorly.
I am alive. I am living with my sister and brother-in-law, my niece lives nearby with her family, friendly neighbors in a lovely neighborhood, quiet town, simple life. Just enough distractions for a well-traveled world-weary local artist. LoL
I am venturing out into the world little by little, meeting new friends and helping out where I can. Little by little, baby steps. I don't think I can ever let anyone as close to my heart as I had for so many years. It is almost unbearable when they have gone on to the next life. Heaven's got a plan for me. Clean and Sober since 08.25.2003. One Day At A Time.
You'll always find me hanging out at Art Walk By The Bay 6-9pm on the first Friday of each month, all year long. You're invited to join me and some of our local artists and craftspeople as we show and sell along the sidewalks of W. Main St. in our historic downtown district here in La Porte, Texas.".
