Top O' Brasstown Bald, GA 4,784 feet. It's not Colorado but its the best we have.
Aug. 2010, We just hiked to the tallest spot in GA, Brasstown Bald. We're smiling on the outside, exhausted on the inside.
So proud of my son Patrick. He is currently in Bangladesh teaching at the LAMB hospital and school which serves children of missionaries and local children as well.
We had a different Thanksgiving. Kids were not at home so we thought we'd go for a bike ride before dinner. Couldn't find one that involved other people so on Tuesday I put out the word that we were starting our own....T
Very proud of my wife. We rode 45 miles on Saturday and 20 miles on Sunday..along with 800 other crazy people. We now have legs of iron, with the rust to prove it. :)
I do believe this is the tallest I've ever been. :)

The man who changed drumming forever. He passed on this day in 1987. He would have been 98 years old today, and still light years ahead of me. Thanks for the inspiration Sir...and the pair of sticks you gave me in 1966.

I always knew we had things in common.
I'm 19...you looked funny at 19 too. Gene Krupa was a classy guy that night and I'll always remember it.
