Steve's Story
Okay, here goes my story (or something like it).
Graduated AHS and went on to study business at CU for a couple of years. Swtiched to Fine Art and to CSU. Concentrated in Graphic Design. Also double majored in tech journalism and documentary films. Graduated on a Saturday in 1983 and went to work the following Monday. Worked around the advertising industry ever since.
After college, D.A. Oldis and I stopped making movies and started a rock band called the Minx. Played around Colorado for a year or so until it blew up (all bands do eventually).
In 1985, Jon Crocker and I thought we knew everything, so we started a design firm. Sold it in 1990 and went to work for a large agency in NC. Stayed there for almost 10 years. Jon and I owned an agency called SPARK headquartered in the Vail Valley, until 2007.
In 1989 I met the love of my life, Lisa in Scottsdale, AZ and after a year of long-distance dating, we have now been married 28 years. We live in LoDo and have a great time down there. It is like a dormitory for adults.

ld guy, I used to make fun of!). I had to give up basketball when I turned 50 because I was always hurt and my opponents just got younger and faster. For the past 14 years I have played drums in a classic rock band called Mid-Life Crisis. Considering a name change to the Fossils, since it is unlikely that we will live to be 116.
I have stayed close friends with D.A., Nick Guida, Tom Evans, Kevin Bromley, Kevin Hood. I even lived with Bromley and Hood for awhile, but those are stories I can't put down here!
Today, I have a company called i3logix and we build enterprise level web applications mostly for the HR and Staffing industries. For employee management, we have a unique drug screening platform to manage employee pre-employment, post-accident and random testing. We also have a commercial, digital printing operation and marketing division so I still get to go back to my roots in design and advertising.
Would love to retire and fish, but I would miss the work, so who knows if that will ever happen.
