Steve's Story
Life
Only 4000 characters, how droll. After Westchester, went to UC Berkeley then to graduate school at Harvard. Worked for a management consulting firm in San Francisco for a few years and then for Transamerica for the next 30 plus (first in San Francisco and then in LA). During that time traveled to most of the world (except Africa). At the end of my career was responsible for international development and did get us a license to do business in China (and learned some Chinese along the way).
Retired at the end of 2001. Had purchased a home in a very small community...Expand for more
called Three Rivers (near the southern entrance to Sequoia) and sold the house in LA in 2003 (2004?) to live there permanently. Have a place in Cambria where we spend some of our time. Don't know how I ever had time to go to an office...and wouldn't move back to any big city (except maybe London or Beijing part time).
Have been married to the same very understanding and loving lady for over 35 years and have two grown sons (26 and 33) and one daughter-in-law. Still do a reasonable amount of traveling and especially enjoy vacationing with the kids when they can make time.
