Steve's Story
Looking back, life has been more than I expected, though nothing like I thought it might be. I went to California Baptist College straight from HS. Met the girl of my dreams and then had to go to Mt.SAC. We married and moved to So. Oregon where a year later I was drafted. Joined the USAF, became a medic, was in the 10th AESq treating the sick and wounded. Had the great honor of providing medical care to the POWs released from Hanoi. backpacked/canoed or kayaked in every state and each province in Canada with my children. I have hiked and (fly) fished and/or visited 7 countries over seas. I work as a family therapist for the Mo. Div.of Youth Services now and live in a small town in Southeast Missouri on a 20 acre farm. My son lives in England with his Norwegian wife and my granddaughter. My daughter is in Ohio with my other granddaughter and I have two precious grandsons from a family that adopted me 13 years ago. Life is simple, but oh so fine.
