Steve's Story
Proud father of 8 kids (5 boys and 3 girls) and grandfather of 6 grand kids. -- Founder/Pastor of For Him Ministries and Church Without Walls. For Him Ministries is an interdenominational ministry created to support my evangelistic ministry and calling to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to all that he can by every means possible. for the South Texas District and assisted in managing drilling mud sales and engineering operations in the South Texas district. In 1980 I took a position with Drilling Mud, Inc. as South Texas District Manager. In August 1981 I formed Matex Drilling Mud, Inc. where I acted as CEO/President until 1986. Since 1986 I have spent my career as a drilling fluids consultant providing engineering services to Baker Hughes/Inteq, Newpark Drilling Fluids, Baroid, Lone Star Drilling Fluids, Ambar Drilling Fluids, Coastal Drilling Fluids, and Spirit Drilling Fluids. My experience ranges in wells to 18,000' with mud weights up to 18.8 ppg, and in areas covering South Texas, Central Texas, and East Texas.
