f brother, and also the cousin of Hollywood lyric writer Leo Robin - also a cousin of the Herrmann's. My grandfather was also a cousin of famed movie cinematographer Leon Shamroy and lived with them as a small boy. This was on his mother's side, so the other Herrmann's [such as Bernard] were not related to the Shamroy's. Shamroy and Bernard did work on 3 of the same films together.
My grandafter also bought all the glass sheets and pressed glass of bankrupt Tiffany Studios in 1938 for his stained glass window repair business. He was a friend of Charles Connick, the great stained glass window artist. The remaining sheet glass is now owned by the Nuestadt Museum in New York.".
