Steve's Story

Every time I travel through the Twin Cities, I look for people I know. I wonder if I'd recognize them if I was to pass by, or if they'd recognize me either. Maybe my voice would ring a bell as I tell everyone what we're flying over, or maybe the other pilot would mention my name and whoever heard it would think "didn't I go to school with someone by that name?" I dunno. One day, I hope to see some more of my former classmates. It would be fun to hear what has happened in our lives and to compare the different paths we all have taken. I live in Seattle now, have been married to my beautiful wife Alisa for 19 years, ...Expand for more
and have 3 kids: Jeremy, Tori, and Jocie. They're still young, ages 11-6, which I keep telling myself will make me feel young. Of course, it usually makes me feel old when I tell myself that. The other remaining piece in the most generalized representation of my life is my career: I fly Airbus A330s for Northwest (soon to be Delta) Airlines. Although I'm sure it's everyone's favorite airline, it sure isn't the company with which we all grew up. It's been an interesting ordeal, one which is best told on a sunny day, sitting on some comfortable chairs on the deck, with a cold beer in hand. So, I'll save it 'til then.
