Steve's Story
Life
After Southwest, I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering. I met my wife Kathy while at UTA and we were married in 1976.
I worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after college and then joined Mobil Oil after 4 years with the Corps. In 1983 I went to work for Carter and Burgess in Fort Worth and I have been there since that time. In 1991 I became a partner in the firm and I now manage our Public Works and Environmental Services group in Fort Worth. Some local landmarks that I've worked on include the Cityview Lake System, the Radio Shack corporate headquarters, NAS JRB, the Alliance Development and Ridgmar Town Center.

wife and I have 4 beautiful (now grown) children and 3 grandchildren. We live in Burleson.
I enjoy cycling, running and golf. Our favorite vacation spot is Breckenridge, Colorado. We love going to events at the Bass Hall in downtown Fort Worth.
I really enjoy the transformation that's taking place in Fort Worth. The sleepy cousin to Dallas is rapidly becoming one of the more interesting urban areas in the United States. One walk through downtown Fort Worth on a weekend night will convince you that this is a pretty special place.
I'd enjoy hearing from any of you. Since we've stayed in the area, I've kept up with quite a few of our classmates and can fill you in on their activities.
