Steve's Story
I left Toledo in 1982 for Germany was there almost ten years. However, after Desert Storm I could no longer stay in Germany. So The Army sent me to Louisiana, man was it hot down there.
But after almost missing my Fathers passing because of the Army, I wanted to be around my Mother and Family I decided it was time to come home so I have lived here since 2003. I have done a lot...Expand for more
in my life, worked on an offshore oil rig in two thousand feet of water (took a helicopter to work) in the Gulf of Mexico. Lived ten miles from the Iron Curtain of East Germany and Czechoslovakia defending our freedom, watched the people come over that Sunday after the wall came down wow were they happy to even see a orange... I was glad to be a part of that wall coming down.
