Steve's Story
Life
I have been married to a wonderful women Jodi for 30 years, we have two children, a daughter Nikki 28 and a son James 25. I'm in my twenty second year in the fire service and expect to work another three then retire. We also have a business that takes up some of my off duty time. We have lived in Arizona for twenty five years and plan to retire here. Our free time is spent with our children and their spouses or riding the motorcycle through the western states. We will be spending alot more time in the Phoenix area as we will soon be grandparents. We became grandparents on September 3, 2007. Our daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby girl to which she named Lily Lynn. We spend our weekends babysitting our grandbaby, and love it. me with her and it is such a joy. It is a lot different when it is your grandchild, we are older now and are able to appreciate what it all means. Today January 5th, 2010, my wife and I are grandparents again. Our son James and his wife gave us our second granddaughter, Addisyn Kaylynn born December 10th, 2009. 2009 was a happy and sad year for my family, my father passed away in January and a new grandbaby in December. 2009 went by surprisingly fast, I haven't spoken to anyone from the class of 1980 in a long time. I was in Colorado last year and tried to look up a few people, but no luck. I did not make it back to the reunion and haven"t heard from anyone who went. 2010 will be here and gone in a just a few months, I read a few storys from classmates but most of them do not change. I spoke with Glen a few month ago but nothing since.
