Steve's Story

Life The summer after I graduated I attended USC in Pueblo and earned my BS in Computer Science. I began working for the State of Colorado (CCCS) and continued with them for 6 years. Three of the six years were in Pueblo working at PCC and then in La Junta for another three years. I left CCCS for a job in the private sector and moved to Montrose, Colorado to work for an electric company as their IT Manager. I have been here for over three years and the move was well worth it. My wife and I have been married for over 11 years and I have absolutely no regrets. She is my best friend as well as the love of my life. I met her while I was working for The Cavalcade as was told about "some girl's" birthday party. Little did I know... My wife is from Canon City so I doubt anyone reading this knows her. My son from my previous high school girlfriend is living with us. He recently turned 16, got his license and first job. I am proud of him. Also in the Z family our our two dogs. ly female Rottwieler and our big boy is an Old English Mastiff that we rescued. Since moving to this part of Colorado I have become a snowmobile addict. Last season I put on over 1200 miles on my 800 Vertical Edge. This part of Colorado is simply amazing and there is much to do but snowmobiling is at the top of my list. My wife and I are on our third home. We are having our dream home built and it should be completed in late August. I hope everyone reading this is doing well and I would enjoy hearing from you. geckobrosATgmailDOTcom Update 3-26-07 The house is completed and we have been in it for about 4 months. We love it. We have started ATV'ing. The wife decided she was tired of hearing me complain there was no snow, so now we have a couple of ATV's. My garage looks like I could start a Motorsports Store. Work is still keeping me busy and they just keep piling on the responsibility. Who would have "thunk" it, me being a responsible adult. Well, that could be debated. Take care.
