Steve's Story
I didn't graduate with my class of 1967. It took me 3 yrs of nite school but I did make it. I moved to Brigham City during/after high school. Met a wonderful girl and got married. Moved to SLC and divorced 15 yrs later. One son together. Worked at several different jobs and places. But I could never find anything that really felt right. I did stay at one place later in time for 16 yrs. Then I changed companys, got laid off, and retired after a year. My wife of 27 yrs and I are raising our grandson. We have had him since he was 2 yrs and hes 8 now. Going into the third grade. Time seems to pass by at a faster pace as I get older. My stepdaughter is the bright spot in my life as a father. a good one. I have done well in that regard.
I really had no direction or goals in high school or for a time afterwards. Then I found a goal: Make money. In truth I thought it would just fall into my pockets, when someone saw how smart and clever and great I was. Of course that didn't happen. But somehow I always managed to land on my feet most of the time. I like being retired. I really never cared much for work. (of any kind) I volunteer at my grandson's school and am an active pta member. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat right now.
My electronic skills are improving. I did find where to tell my story quite easily.
Of course I have many stories and parts of my life that I could share. We have probably all had those highs and lows these past years. That's what has made up our lives.
