More about Steve:"I am a lover of nature. I grew up in San Diego County (Poway) before it became covered with houses. Not a lot of trees but miles of open chaparral foot hills that I would explore nearly every day.
We moved to San Diego city where I went to junior and senior high school, graduating in 1972. My college major was Biology with a concentration in wildlife management. In my senior year I realized I was not going to get a job with the forest service due to budget cuts and new hiring priorities. I switched majors to business with a concentration in quantitative management and a certificate in computers (this was before there w...Expand for more
as a computer science major).
In 1979 I started my career in tech that I loved and was very successful. I am retired but still do some consulting today.
I have been a photographer since high school and I always have a camera with me. I am a PADI Assistant Instructor and an Underwater Photography Instructor. I have been diving off California from San Diego to Monterey. I have also been able to dive in Hawaii (many times), Roatan Honduras, Malta, and Belize.
I love taking long rides on my motorcycle. In SoCal I rode through all the mountain ranges there along with Sierras, and explored the desert. Riding up and down the California coast is a real treat. Recently we moved to Seattle Washington, and I have a whole new state to explore.
I have been fortunate enough to have traveled most of the states in the US and many other countries. I love spending time with the citizens, learning about them and their joys and concerns. Getting to know people around the world is a great education. I know we are all one and are all connected.
Along with helping people become more environmentally aware, I also work with people to help them find their own joy and freedom.
Words I try to live by - Be Kind, All The Time".
