Steve's Story
After I graduated I went to work at the Virginia Hotel and then I went to work for Estes Dairy.
After I married I went to work for Cross manufacturing in Kinsley
I was drafted in 1970 and served 1 yr in Viet Nam as an infantryman.When I returned I went back to work for Cross in Hays.
In 1974 I re-enlisted in the Army and became a Generator mechanic. I went to Germany and then to Wasingotn D.C. Then back to Germany and then to Kentucky, Where I met my present wif...Expand for more
e, then we went to Maryland. I retired in Louisiana and then to Texas. Worked for Wal-Mart for 4 years as the Auto Service Manager. We left Texas and moved to Pratt, Where I went to work for 54 Express Lube as the Asst. Manager. After that I went to work at Wal-Mart again as the Auto Service Manager. I am presently Semi Retired.
I have just recently got back in touch with an old friend, Sandi Corbitt Roper and we are reminicing some of the times we had together.
