Steve's Story
Life
Went to college at M.I.T. in Cambridge MA. I got married in 1975 as a college junior to my high school sweetheart. Graduated from college in 1977 with a B.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (so I was a little nerdy). Got commissioned as a 2nd Lt in the Air Force in 1977, but stayed at M.I.T. in graduate school for one more year. M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1978. nkers from March AFB CA. Then I was assigned as a test pilot school student at Edwards AFB CA. I flew as a line test Pilot at Wright-Patterson AFB OH for four years and then was assigned to the systems program offices as a program manager.
Note: flying 'em beats buying 'em. I then became a military bureaucrat in Washington DC. I became a grandfatehr in 1998. I expect to return to Wright-Patterson in 2001. I'm still married to my first wife (thankfully). Next big step: civilian life and deciding what I want to be if I grow up.
