Steve's Story
Life
Hey, everyone! I graduated UW in 1990 and started teaching band in Prairie du Chien.
In 1992 I married Tara Stadleman, who I met while studying music in college. Soon we
were both teaching music in Viroqua. After living there for a few years we moved to LaCrosse.
Tara went back to UW for a graduate degree and landed a job in Boston in 2003, so we moved
east. We lived in Salem, the witch city, for a year and half, and now live further north.

on the north shore of Boston. In 2006 our high school band
marched in the Rose Parade! I've also been in the national guard since '87, as an Army bandsman. Made it Sergeant First Class
in the 132d in Madison, but had to reduce my rank to Staff Sergeant to take a position in the 215th
