Steve's Story
Short version.
After college at Chapel Hill,and some grad school and not getting into med school in the states... got into a Mexican med school and decided quickly that it was no way to become a doctor.
Became a real estate broker and mortgage broker in Miami for about 5 years and then an investment banker in Dallas, Tx. and then a short stint in Tulsa as an investment officer at a bank and then another 8 years in Dallas as a vp in public finance with DLJ. After about ten years in Dallas and a wife, who is a CPA.. we had enough of corporate life and moved to Breckenridge, Colorado wher...Expand for more
e we've lived for 26 years. We started and owned a number of ski related retail stores ...The North Face, Columbia Breckenridge and The Main Street Outlet and life was pretty wonderful at 10,000 feet... and then about a year ago Vail development bought us out.. timing was perfect and we were ready....We sold our house in 6 days.. had a 2nd home In Fort Collins, Colorado on a lake that we renovated and moved there 4 months ago ...and life continues to be pretty wonderful... as it appears ...we are retired.... :)...That just about wraps up almost 50 years of living ...in one paragraph.
