CLASS OF 1974

Steve's Story

Those that knew me know that my dad decided to move to Montana between my Junior and Senior years at Meridian. Talk about being PO’d about that for a long time ( I still think about how messed up that was) ! After graduating , I ended up in Moscow where I started working for a guy that built apartment buildings. I attempted going to U of I, but after two years , I went back to construction and have been a builder for the rest of my career. In 1984, I moved to California for work and met a girl who would end up marrying me 😁. I never thought I would stay but here I am still living three blocks from the Pacific Ocean in the San Francisco Bay Area (Half Moon Bay ) - if one must live in California, this is a pretty nice place to be. Married to my wife for 32 yea...Expand for more
rs - we have 3 kids - two girls and one boy. My oldest lives in Portland , my son lives in Ballard , WA - its great that we get to head into the Pacific Northwest often to see them and get my fix for that part of the world taken care of. My youngest graduated from HS two years ago and still lives with us and is taking college courses at one of the local J.C’s in the area. I’m still working as a General Contractor primarily in new residential and remodeling. I’ve been blessed with good health that’s allowing me to continue working after all these years. Would love to catch up with any/all of my friends from the Eagle/ Meridian years - seems the older I get, the more I reminisce about that time in my life - those were great days !!! Cheers to all of you !
