Steve's Story
Life
I married my High School sweetheart (Sherri) and we have been happily married since 1983. I retired from the USMC in 2003, and started working towards my M.S. in Education with a Secondary Mathematics endorsement. My degree was finally conferred on Dec 15th 2007, and I started looking for a job as a math teacher (at the college level). I got hired in September of 2008 (by the grace of God) and currently teach classes at ITT Technical Institute. When I am not teaching classes, I am helping students with their math problems. Military
Joined the USMC in 1981 while in H.S. and went to boot camp in 1982 after graduation. Spent most of my 21 years in Cherry Point, NC. I've worked in aviation my entire career and deployed to Japan, Italy, Norway and many places in the United States. I retired in 2003 and moved with my wife of 20 years to Oak Harbor, WA. Hopefully we will stay here for a while. We are very involved in our church and with the Red Cross.
