My Pets
The dog is named Snowy(my daughter named him) and is a Bichon Friese
The cat is Sandy and she was a new addition when my daughter started school.
The fish are just your run of the the mill fresh water variety.
My Kids
Her name is Taylor. The name was picked out before we found out the sex of the baby so we actually carried on conversations with her before she was born.
My Job
Currently working for a car dealership in Greer, South Carolina. No, I don't sell cars(you couldn't pay me enough money!) I thought I was finished with the car business but fate has brought me back. As soon as my daughter graduates, I'll decide what I want to be when I grow up!
Workplace
I spent 20 years working for Spartan Mills(a textile company that owned JPK in Augusta). They went bankrupt when textiles went to hell plus the management was very slack. My next job was pretty cool. heir stores. They had about 650 stores and they were in 33 states. The project was supposed to start the week that the Twin Towers were knocked down! They put the project on the back burner for one week but the installation team was still in pucker mode if you know what I mean. I got to see a lot of the more interesting places in the US on somebody elses nickel. That was a short term project which I knew when I accepted it so I only worked for them for about 8 months.
I now work at a Nissan Dealership as their Inventory Manager. Every time I've worked at a dealership I have seen and heard stuff that makes me wonder why the hell anybody in their right mind would go into the car selling business!
But for now it allows me to take my daughter to school and pick her up too. It's only about 2 miles from home and convenient. I'm still keeping my eyes open for something else with some flexibility and "family friendliness". I'm also waiting for those stupid ping pong balls to come up my my way LOL!
