Steven's Story
Life
I'm living a good life and glad to be able to finally reach out to others who were at King while I was there. I've done so many things with my life so far and I'm so looking forward to the rest of it. I guess my biggest goal is to become financially independent through helping others. I don't want to do it by working at making a corporation richer. I tried that and was only depressed from trying to "stay within the lines." Military
I went into the Air Force in July of 1979. After basic training in Lackland AFB, Texas, I went to the Presidio of Monterey language training school in California. I was there for 37 weeks and then went to Goodfellow AFB for more training. Then I was off to Misawa AFB in Japan where I spent 12 months before separating from the Air Force in January of 1982.
