Steven's Story
Life
Let's see-how do I put into a few characters what has taken 51 years to live since high school. I'm gonna hop over the wasting my life part with *drugs, sex, and rock n' roll* right after high school.
In 1972 I sold lock, stock and barrel and went to Europe. I traveled and lived in most of Western Europe but settled temporarily in Paris where I studied a year (and to think I flunked French in High School and now speak seven languages - who could have guessed?) I met my first wife, Fabienne there. We traveled together with our first daughter and worked in East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia). We returned to California so I could RNR and regain my health. Then moved back to France to work in the Mid East, India and Pakistan. In 83' I worked in the former Soviet Union for 6 years until the "wall" finally came down. Unfortunately we divorced in '86 - The next year I met my current wife in Denmark and we moved to Norway in 88' where I went back to school, studying through the Universities of Oslo and Trondheim. I received my degree in Engineering, an MA in Philosophy and an MA Social Anthropology. From 1989 - 1994 I worked to help establish 3 orphanages; two ...Expand for more
in East Europe and one in Sao Paulo, Brasil.
Let's see, I returned to visit my parents in 90' when I had a short but sweet reunion with a couple from BPHS (Charles Brown who unfortunately passed away shortly thereafter) and Lydia Anderson. I Returned for three weeks again in 92' when my mother died. Otherwise I'm afraid I have not seen or heard from anyone in all these years. I did get in touch with Glenn Smith (68) and his wife who are living up in Montana if I'm not mistaken.
For the last 10 years I was senior Project Manager/engineer working with urban development for the county. Previously I worked here as a consultant engineer for an architect firm and worked as project manager and consulting engineer for a ship building firm in the Trondheim area.
In 2010 had a reality check when I had a heart attack. Am currently separated and live on my own. I travel giving lectures on Traditional/Classical Astrology. Give regular lectures in Istanbul. Lecture in the UK and diverse in Europe. Otherwise I teach martial arts 3 days a week and I travel to visit my kids and grand kids whenever I can. I retired September 1, 2018 from my profession. That's it in a nutshell.
