Steven's Story

I retired from the USAF in Dec 2011. I moved back to Eagle River, AK. Since retirement I have worked at Airglas and PenAir as the Ground Operations Manager. While still in search of a job that made me as happy as the USAF, I finally received the call from Boeing in Seattle, WA. I am currently a 737NG systems operator and E-3 flight engineer in Boeing Test & Evaluation. I have been blessed with a great wife and two beautiful girls. My USAF career was exciting to say the least. I have been stationed at Myrtle Beach, SC, Suwon AB, Korea...Expand for more
, NAS Keflavik, Iceland, Langley AFB, VA, Tinker AFB, OK and two great tours at Elmendorf AFB, AK. I was involved in the First Gulf War while deployed to King Abulaziz AB, Saudi Arabia. I flew missions supporting the Northern and Southern No Fly Zones in Iraq while deployed to Incirlik AB, Turkey and Prince Sultan AB, Saudi Arabia. Eight months prior to my retirement I deployed to fly missions in support of ISAF operations in Afghanistan. My military duties have kept me from the past three class reunions but I hope to make the next one.
