Steven's Story
Life
DJ Bronz began his career in music at the ripe age of 9 while attending catholic grade school in Michigan. He played piano for 2 years while in the fourth and fifth grade. After playing piano for a couple of years, he was more intrigued with the sound of the drum. With that said, drum lessons would begin at the end of his fifth grade year until the end of sixth grade playing in three talent shows that year.
After playing the drums for years to come, he ended up learning guitar at age 19. He spent the next 3 years playing guitar and singing live at local coffee shops and bars. As his career is not rewarding him enough, Bronz moves to Arizona to find out that dance music is right around the corner for him in 1998. While attending his first dance event in 1998 at an airport hanger in Mesa, AZ with a huge DJ, he knew something was in store for him musically in the future.
While living in Arizona, he attended a dance event almost every week meeting and greeting some big names in the business like Paul Van Dyk, D...Expand for more
J Dan, Richard Humpty Vision, Tall Paul, Pollywog, and Donald Glaude. Some few years later after deciding to start throwing some of his own parties, a local favorite Jae Van was asked to play at his loft party. Jae decided to let Bronz play around on the turntables. After trying and mixing his first record, he knew his calling was behind the tables.
After a nice farewell to Arizona, Bronz moved to New York City to begin his career in Djing in March of 2003. Mostly spinning on his decks at home, he meets a resident DJ of a popular NYC hang out. DJ Nicolae of the popular NYC party Playground was the beginning point as BronzÂs debut began on September 11th, 2003. Ever since then he hasnÂt looked back. Soon after he was aggressively pursuing gigs at popular night spots such as Filter 14, Punch, Le Souk, Opium Den, Faluka, Delft, Bauhaus, Keybar and Industry. He has all ready gained much more respect than heÂs expected and continues to energize the crowd with his flow of deep tribal to techy progressive house beats.
