Steve's Story

Life What can I say, my life since leaving Hammond and moving to San Diego has been wonderful. I have a beautiful loving wife and two fantastic daughters. I served in Viet Nam, saw most of the world, and have been surfing for 30 years. I have become very successful in the computer industry, and decided to open my own coffee shop. I plan on opening a few more, then turn the business over to my oldest daughter. I spend much of my time riding my Harley and golfing, gambling in Las Vegas, or taking 4 day weekends in Mexico. Growing up in Hammond, I believe, made me ...Expand for more
into the type of person I am today. I love life, take nothing for granted, and thank god everyday for giving me the marriage and family I used to dream of. I have lived life as if I am always on a vacation. Living close to the ocean makes everything in life easier to deal with. Would I change anything in my life if i had it to do over again? Probably not. I wake up happy everyday, so what else matters. Life is too short to be angry, so let someone else be miserable. To those I considered my friends in high school: may life treated you as well as it has treated me.
