Steven's Story
And how am I supposed to put 45 or so years since graduation into this little box? A lot of things have happened, some good, some bad, and some things I just simply can not qualify. I could never have planned how my life has turned out. Been divorced twice, married three time, never had any kids, but still I have a granddaughter and a grandson. Been a lot of places, done a lot of things, Can't think of one good reason why, but I'm still vertical and able to do everything I have to do.

rarely what we plan. There is a Yiddish proverb that states; Man plans, God laughs.
I do my suburban commute to my yuppie job in LA so I can afford to live in my suburban house with my suburban wife and drive my suburban cars to visit my suburban friends, Yeah, not bad, but it surely lacks the grit that I believe was to be me those many years ago.
Still, there remains a touch of rebel in me when I climb on my too fast motorcycle and drive up into the mountains with all of its twisting, winding roads, feeling the sun in my face, going to my happy place. Something I could never do in MN. Can't say I miss the snow and cold at all, though having a long string of triple digit temps in Santa Clarita causes cabin fever as profound as a string of 10 below days in Minnie. Let's face it, it can and does get too hot to ride a motorcycle.
