Steven's Story
After high school I went to the UW, got married right before my senior year, graduated in 1977, joined Chevron and moved to the Los Angeles area. Chevron eventually moved me to the San Francisco area and then finally Houston, TX. Along the way I had 4 kids ... all boys.
After 22 years of engineering, business planning, IT, and financial analysis I bailed out and joined a startup company that was developing a new laser scanning technology. I spent 4 years with them and exited to join an even s...Expand for more
maller start up (5 people) and we're now into our 4th year of trying to improve the environment by bringing a biodegradable plate made out of corn starch to market.
Over the past 35+ years since high school I've done a few wild things including hitching hiking around Europe for 2 months, hopping a freight, hang gliding, sky diving, and taking kite boarding lessons.
I love running (especially marathons), music, photography and writing poetry (guess I'm still that nerd from back in high school)
