Steven's Story
Life
In 1974, I quit school and joined the Marine Corps. Nobody else seemed interested in a 17-yr. old who already knew everything. :-) 1995 rolled around, and I retired as a MSgt with 17 years working with mainframe computers. Went to work for a software vendor and stayed with them almost 10 years. Along the way, I was blessed with 7 beautiful children, 4 biological and 3 acquired. They have, in turn, presented me with 9 (so far) beautiful grandchildren. I'm a happy man.

en my world went to crud, as we moved to Romeoville, my parents got divorced, and I went to 5 schools between IL and FL in sophomore year. Junior year I was on my 3rd high school of the year when I quit school. What a dope!
I live in northern VA with my wife and one remaining oppressed teenager. I pay the mortgage by doing battle daily with IBM mainframe computers. What little free time I have is spent reading, playing video games, and working with multiple computer user groups.
Sep 2015 - Moved to WV, shed the last of the offspring.
Oct 7, 2016 - Retired. Yay!
