Steven's Story

Life Shortly after high school I joined the Marine Corps, and following that graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, doing an apprenticeship in Marsala, Italy, and one in Longsford, Ireland. Owned my own restaurant in Montana for many years. Now I am chef for an award-winning restaurant in Bend, Oregon. I spend my spare time on the coast surfing...Expand for more
as much as I can. When I am not doing that, friends and I ride longboard skateboards, play croquet, and barbecue like crazy. Having walked the Camino de Santiago in 2013 and 2014, I met and fell in love with a German girl from Bavaria. I currently reside with her in Nurnberg, Germany, where we travel throughout Europe together, laughing and enjoying life.
