Life
I should be outside mowing the lawn, but I guess that can wait. If this is read by one of my mates then it has been a worthy endeavour. I have tried to track a few of you down, but to no avail...perhaps that's becasue I have spent 13 of the last 17 years overseas. Following my wonderful life at Fairfield High School I was a bit lost initially, still hanging with the boys. My father encouraged me to get off my arse and do something. I went to Broadcasting school in San Franciso for a year, then went to Fort Bragg, Ca. to become a radio announcer for a year. Following that experience I went to Chico, for University, a relationship and radio. While at University I worked as a blackjack dealer in Lake Tahoe during the summers and winters...fantastic memories. I graduated from Chico State and then went to Japan. w my hair, wore an eye-patch and travelled through Asia and Africa for three years before returning to the US with a girlfriend and a baby; my first child was born In Zimbabwe. I returned home to Calfornia and lived in Berekely/Richmond for four years. The last two years I worked for a .Com start-up in Pleasanton, Ca. My wife and I had two more kids, twins, and decided we would raise our kids in an alternative environment and decided on New Zealand. I worked for Microsoft for the first four years in New Zealand and then changed jobs to go into Telecommunications for two years. I am now a GM at mid-sized IT organization that embraces some pretty powerful values. I have a British wife and three kids and absolutely love New Zealand.
