Steven's Story
I retired from the Marine Corps as a Colonel. I am currently working in Tampa, FL which is a previous duty station. We may eventually end up in California when I finish working.. My oldest son is a Marine Major. He was just starting 8th grade when 9/11 happened. ne friends whose sons have followed them into the Corps. Not a unique experience at all, but makes you sort of feel old seeing Marines that you remember as little kids going into the fight. My oldest daughter is married to a Navy pilot who was her college sweetheart. One daughter graduated from Florida State; one son graduated from UCF and the youngest graduated from the University of Utah. Empty nest is here! They sure grow up fast.
