Steven's Story
Workplace
After college I joined the Sacramento Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff working in the jail, patrol, and SWAT. In 1985 I went to work for the District Attorney as a criminal investigator. During the years I have been promoted through the ranks and at different times have worked as the Chief of the Bureau of Family Support, and Chief of the Bureau of Investigation.

I started my military carees as a Military Policeman in the California National Guard they became a Criminal Investigator in the 170th CI Detachment. In 1985 in joined the 91st Division Band when I learned they had a bagpipe band. I am now the Pipe Major in the Pipes & Drums in the 91st Division. We have traveled all over thw country performing. It is great fun and very rewarding.
