Steven's Story
I went to Morningside High my freshman, sophomore and junior year of high school. Transferred to Miraleste in my senior year so I didn't really get a chance to make friends or get to know many of my classmates. I didn't live in Rolling Hills, just commuted to and from school to finish my senior year. Wow what a difference from one school to another. Wish I could have attended Miraleste all four years. t thirty-five years. Have two wonderful daughters, one thirty-six and one thirty-three. My oldest daughter is married with three children. My youngest daughter is married with two children. I am a grandfather of four wonderful grandsons and one granddaughter. I started working for Disney in 1982. I began my career as a programmer then moved into Data Communications in its infancy. I have watched the industry grow into what it is today. What a difference. Made a few mistakes along the way, but all-in-all life turned out OK. Hard to believe it will be fifty-two years, this coming June since graduating from Miraleste. Retired on May 18, 2012. My only regret, from the short time I spent at Miraleste was being so shy and because of that not making any friends or meeting new people. Miraleste was a wonderful school. Life on that hill must have been very peaceful for those who lived there all their life.
