Lisa's Story

Life Hi folks! Yes I am still married to the same man I married right after we graduated! We have three children. My son, Andrew and my Daughter Susan attend Oklahoma State University (Go POKES), and my other daughter, Shelby is a sophomore at MacArthur High School here in Lawton, Oklahoma. I am a graduate of Cameron University with a bachelors degree in elementary education.Two of my three children carried on my love for the band and are involved. Susan plays the flute and is on the Colorguard at OSU. Shelby plays clarinet in our High School band. Andrew is an equipment manager for OSU football along with being a fulltime student. ired from the Army and is now teaching special education in an elementary school here. I no longer have any ties in Manteca. My parents moved to Mariposa, CA. I am a transplanted Oklahoman and love it here. School My favorite part of high school was marching band. I adored Mr. Souza along with every other female in band! I loved competitions and our trip to Philly....it was totally awesome! College I am finally finished with Cameron University as a non-traditional student. My most favorite professor at CU is Dr. Vivian Thomlinson. She always believed in me and was quick with a word of encouragement just when I would need it the most.
