Steven's Story
Life
After High School got my hands greasy working on cars. Then was convinced by my father to get a not so physical job like in the refrigeration business. yea right. so went to some classes at Eastfield in mechanical engineering and a load of hvac theory stuff also got a job with Cabell's Dairy, does anyone remember them, like the milk cartons we were served at lunch. Anyway worked there for 5 years as a maintenance tech working with ammonia refrigeration. lost sense of smell. Married first wife (from oklahoma) and had first son. later came to senses and went to work for mechanical contractors one after another and got a divorce. not sure which one i was most happiest about. Went to work for Carrier Corp. as a feild tech working on chillers and large office and industrial air conditioning equipment, no ammonia. Met sencond wife from Irving currently have second daughter. Then got tired of breaking my back working on heavy equipment and was given a chance to go into the Energy Management Field by Carrier (spent alot of my life in Syracuse N.Y.) came to my senses and went to work for a local EMS company in Carrolton (CSI) until they were bought out by a swedish co and the people that recruited me at CSI started their own company and brought me in which is where I'm at today very busy with a new company we became the #1 dealer for Alerton tech, which is a division of Honeywell, worldwide. My oldest (son) married in May. daughter in law is great could not ask for a better one. But still grandkids are a ways off yet as they are trying to get a house I think they have a go...Expand for more
od plan so far. My yougest daughter is 14 going on 19 everyone knows the story i've been through it before being the stupidest person that walked the face of this earth (don't guess my parent's ever did either) but have to understand what she might be going through my son helps in that retrospect. I still don't get to go fishing as much i'd like to anymore, I always wanted to become the NEXT Bill Dance but come to the final conclusion that it'll have to wait until i really get a life because work has become way to demanding. Always did enjoy bass fishing. i remember a girl (sophmore) in high school that just didn't understand the love of boy's and their toys or hobbies guess some wives don't understand either. Oh well. Just trying to enjoy life as much as possible would not trade this experience at all. Been living in Garland for 15 years will probably move when the divorce comes through maybe plan on moving to east texas or close as work will permit. My territory spans from Shrevport to Lubbock, Oklahoma City to Austin weird how Dallas seem to be in the middle. I can't be to far from the Bass Pro Shops either. I love the work I do and new experiences every day and enjoy meeting with new people. Probably do this as long as i'm physically able. Hopefully find a friend that will enjoy a weekend getaway out on the lake in the mourning running to the fishing hole 75 miles per hour (without brakes) through the flooded woods hooking up on a green bruiser pulling on a string maybe a hamburger for lunch then nap and/or whatever then go out again in the afternoon. What a life.
