Steven's Story
Life
I live in Hershey, Pa with my wife Jeanine and 6-yr old (02/09/02) son Derek. I have lived in MA and CA since Carlisle High School. I attended Western New England College from 84-86, then graduated from Penn State in 1996 (yeah, I know, I took my own sweet time). I got my engineer's license in 2004 (took sweet time there, also).
I'm a Civil Project Manager with Rettew. I'm doing Municipal consulting, which means night meetings. I don't mind them though; it's sort of like mini-politics, which is my spectator sport...what's a Super Bowl? Can I vote for the left at the end?
We're getting ready to tear the roof off & add a second story to our house. That will be cool and expensive, so we're in Hershey for the next several decades or so.
I went to the 5-yr CHS reunion, then not again until the 20-yr. When we walked in, J said, "hey, you went to school with a bunch of old people!" The "now" pic is of D and me, in 2004, at The Butterfly Palace in Northhampton, MA. I'll bet NONE of you who knew me in 1984 thought, "that dude is going to spend some serious time rockin' out to the max at The Butterfly Palace."
I've touched base with about a dozen people so far on this site, so that makes me an addict. Would love to hear from more...

In the actual bldg? No comment. While school aged? Still none.
What happened to your first crush?
Pam got married and has two kids (last I heard). I hope she is happy and well.
How do you hope old friends remember you?
As a nice guy.
To be truly happy, you would be where, doing what, with whom?
In Hershey with J and D...hey, sometimes it just kinda works out, don't it?
Life doesn¿t always turn out the way you expect. What¿s been your biggest surprise?
That I got married and that I became a father. I definitely would have bet against either one.
You get one do-over. What do you do differently?
Party less as a kid, and do more - different - group activities.
What¿s the weirdest job you ever had?
An internship with the DCNR's Forest Pest Mgment. Had to put 50 (not 49, not 51) Gypsy Moth larvae in containers...they are VERY small.
Where have you lived?
Carlisle, Mt Holly, New Cumberland and Hershey, PA; Springfield, Waltham, Weston, MA; La Mesa, CA.
Why did you move?
Why did the chicken cross the road? Why does a dog lick his...nevermind, but that's why.
