Steven Triggs:  

I was born as Hurricane Edna rattled windows in Lewiston in September of 1954. I attended kindergarten at the Martel School and 1st through 8th grade at Holy Cross School (Ecole St. Croix) where I sang in the choir, served as an altar boy (in Latin) and played on the hockey and baseball teams (in French). My running buddies were Gerry Laroche, Paul Bolduc, Phil Nadeau and Mike L'Heureuex along with a wide assortment of cousins with last names of Fournier, Bernier, Bureau and Gardner. After graduating in 1968, I attended Montello for 9th grade intending to go to Lewiston High but, at the recommendation of English teacher, Mrs. Fink, my parents shipped me off to prep school (Choate) in Connecticut in 1969 to complete high school.
