Steven's Story
Life
In Nov76 joined USMC. Spent 3 yrs active duty in NC. Discharged Honorably in 1979.
Went to work in the Automatic Fire Sprinkler industry coming out of the service.
In 1986 family started Monarch Fire Protection Inc. currently based in West Chicago where I perform all of the project estimates and oversee all design work.

I turned to the officiating side of softball in 1994 and have been officiating IHSA and Collegiate Softball for 8 of those years, including the IHSA Class AA State Finals in 2003, 6 Division II Collegiate conference championships for the GLVC, non-conference DePaul and Northwestern games, and Univ. of Louisville fall tournament in 2002. I am currently the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) Chicago Metro Umpire in Chief.
