Steven's Story
I married Joyce Carter in August 73' and left South High after attending 1 month of my Senior year in September 73' to enlist in the Army. They made sure that I got a GED before my friends had their midterm exams. After my service in 76', I enrolled in college classes while working at a Lumber yard in Littleton. After earning my Degree, Martin Marietta hired me where I stayed for 40 years. Joyce and I divorced amicably. We had 3 children, a house, and a partridge in a pear tree. I recognize some of the names in classmates, but I was not popular and I didn't follow any particular click. I'm not in any yearbook that I know of. I was ROTC and the military was my dream (at the time). Some notables were Cathy Rapp, Steve Olsen, Danny Maniatis, Dede Spiecher, Mike Ospina. I hope your lives have been full and adventurous. Take care during our time of Covid. Sad to report, my High School Sweetheart/ Mother of my 3 children/Wife for 22 years has passed away April 28, 2021.
