After graduating from DHS in 1995, I took one quarter of college at USU and then left for my mission in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After serving a mission, I completed my first bachelors degree at Utah State University. My major was Computational Math with minors in computer science and portuguese. I met my wife, Jennifer, in on eof my calculus classes. We majored in the same thing so we were study companions till we finished. It made for some very entertaining study sessions...Multivariable Calculus can be so romantic =) .
After we graduated, I took a break from school for a year and taug...Expand for more
ht seminary in Garland, UT, for a couple of trimesters. I loved teaching but decided to try my hand at teaching mathematics in high school. So I enrolled in my second bachelors program in Math Education.
After finishing this degree, I was hired at Logan River Academy to teach math and computers and to computer technician / network administrator for the Academics department. I have been there ever since, and I love it.
Jenny and I have two sons, Connor (6 yrs) and Quinlan (4 weeks). They are a real treat to have around. They keep us hopping and smiling (what a crazy combination =) ).
