Steven's Story
Though I loved the weather in San Rafael, I kept moving north. First was Portland for college, then Seattle for law school. I decided to stay in Seattle, where I'm happily married and have two kids (a six-year old daughter and two-year old son). My parents are still in San Rafael, so we visit at least a few times a year and enjoy the sunshine.

I still root for Bay Area sports teams-- unless they're playing the Mariners, Seahawks, or Sounders, in which case I'm going with the Seattle team.
Yes, it rains in Seattle, and yes, our winters suck. But, it doesn't rain anywhere near as much as legend has it, and it is an amazingly beautiful and fun place to live.
