Steven's Story
Following graduation from UHS in 1973, I entered the U.S. Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, NY just a few days later. I graduated and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army in 1977 and served 28 years until retiring in 2005. My wife and I make our home in Texas (her home state). to Long Island to visit my 96+ year old father (WWII Vet) and other relatives.
I seems as though I only continued participation in two of the activities in which I participated at UHS. I played saxophone in a band while an undergraduate and still own a sax although it rarely comes out of its case anymore, and I played lacrosse at USMA for 3 years and then club lacrosse as I moved around with the Army until 2001 (age 46).
